Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures. This is a critical role that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Perform pre-procedure assessments, including reviewing patient medical history and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete
- Assist with the preparation of patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Administer medications and monitor patients during procedures
- Assist with the insertion and removal of catheters
- Monitor vital signs and assess patients' condition throughout the procedure
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding post-procedure care and recovery
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
- Ability to perform airway management and provide emergency care as needed
- Experience with ostomy care, DME (durable medical equipment), and primary care
- Familiarity with dialysis procedures and infant care is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state]

- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
